1.Why and how is your personal data being processed?
First of all, you are never obligated to disclose personal data to us. However, without it we cannot perform services, such as deliveries. Nick’s process the personal data that you give to us, for example if you have filed a complaint or if bought one of our products. To fulfill our part of the contract or agreement we need your personal data, usually to send a package to your home or compensate you in some other way.

3. General requests
We process your personal data in order to answer your questions or to contact you if you have expressed such interest. If you contact us with questions, send us your CV or for any other reason, we process your personal data in order to answer these questions, communicate with you or for similar reasons. In such cases the personal data in question can concern identity information, contact information or information about your store. The lawful basis for processing your personal data is in such cases Legitimate interest. Our processing of your personal data is necessary in order for us to answer your requests. We never store your personal data for more than 6 months after the termination of the matter.
If your request concerns allergies and you inform us of an allergy of yours, we have received sensitive personal information about you. We will however not save this information but will answer your request and delete the information as soon as possible.
4. Business partners, corporate clients and suppliers
If you are one of our contact persons with one of our business partners or suppliers, we handle your personal data. The relevant data can in these instances concern identity information and contact information. The lawful basis for processing your personal data is in such cases Legitimate interest. Our processing of your personal data is necessary in order for us uphold our part of the contract. We process your personal data for as long as the contract is in place. If the contract or the business relation is terminated, we will delete your personal data straight away or at the latest within 3 months. If you want us to delete your personal information for any other reason, for example if you are no longer to be our contact person, please contact us and your personal data will be deleted immediately.
If you contact us with a complaint concerning one of our products, we will handle your personal data. Personal data can in such cases concern identity information, contact information, photos, purchase information etc. The lawful basis for process for handling your personal data is in such cases Legitimate interest. Our processing of your personal data is necessary in order for us to fulfil our obligations in our handling of your complaint. We will handle your personal data until the complaint is completed or for a maximum period of 12 months, starting when the complaint was filed. In some cases, personal data may be shared with an insurance company or suppliers. In such cases the lawful basis is Legitimate interest.
If the matter concerns compensation, we need to handle your personal data in order to pay potential compensation. If you suffered any injures from our products, we will handle your personal information in order to investigate whether or not we are to compensate the injury. If sensitive information concerning your health is included, this will not be saved.
If you are one of our employees, we will handle your personal data in order to fulfill our part of our contract, for example concerning salary. The lawful bases are in such cases Contract and Legal obligation, Contract regarding salary information and Legal obligation regarding our obligations concerning taxes etc. Personal data is deleted immediately after the termination of the employment, and never later than after 6 months.
You always have the right to request an extract from our register of personal data concerning yourself. You also always have the right to demand that we correct or erase any personal data concerning yourself. You are also entitled to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format.
We handle all salaries, customer service and administration “in house” at Nick’s. We therefore never share your personal data with third parties. If this is subject to change, we will contact you before it happens.
